  3. The Knack [US] originally released My Sharona written by Berton Averre and Doug Fieger and The Knack [US] released it on the album Get the Knack in It was also covered by Los Pericos, Erika Stucky, Sylvain Cossette, Fried Pride and other artists. It is sampled by Everlast and Run-D.M.C.
  4. The soundtrack was compiled by music supervisor Karyn Rachtman, and the soundtrack album was agressively marketed leading to much airplay, and a number 1 single for Lisa Loeb’s “Stay”. U2’s contribution to the album was the edit version of “All I Want is You” which had been initially released on the “All I Want is You” single.
  5. I Love Rock & Roll: Hits of the '70s is an excellent mid-line collection that contains 20 hits. Although the packaging is a little skimpy, all of the recordings are the original hit versions, which makes the compilation an excellent choice for casual listeners and the budget-minded.
  6. Aug 24,  · Check out Guilty Pleasures by Various on Amazon Music. Stream ad-free or purchase CD's and MP3s now on catapocardwabmaililanddemosuppjus.coinfo4/5(2).
  7. Scanty Sandwich sounds like Fatboy Slim, goofy and frenetic big beats, sampling the Knack's "My Sharona" and adding layer upon layer of fat drum loops. The remaining tracks from Photek and Beta Band are pretty good, but the Future Sound Of London track is a let-down, purely indulgent and sounds as though it's been thrown in for name recognition /5(7).
